This respository serves an requirement for the course subject “Digital Libraries and Preservation”. Creating a repository is essential for efficient knowledge management, collaboration, and risk mitigation. By centralizing information and resources, organizations can ensure easy access, version control, and consistency while reducing the risk of data loss. Additionally, repositories promote collaboration, facilitate compliance with regulations, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and learning. In essence, a repository serves as a cornerstone for organizational efficiency, innovation, and success.

This digital collection is built with CollectionBuilder, an open source framework for creating digital collection and exhibit websites that is developed by faculty librarians at the University of Idaho Library following the Lib-Static methodology.

The site started from the CollectionBuilder-GH template which utilizes the static website generator Jekyll and GitHub Pages to build and host digital collections and exhibits.
